Plant Farming

Agricultural activities that include farming culture and cattle raising are the oldest human culture. But compared with the history of human existence, including plant farming was new. Previously, only humans hunting animals and gathering of food to be consumed.

In line with the increase in human civilization, plant farming were developed into various systems. Ranging from the most simple to the sophisticated and capital intensive. Various plant farming technology developed to achieve the desired productivity.

On the other hand, science is growing plant farming. Agricultural science then grow plants ramify, specialized, such as agronomy, soil science, socio-economic, plant protection, etc..

Advances in science and technology, increasing human needs, forcing humans to spur productivity of plant farming by excessive use of land, while the carrying capacity of the environment has a tolerance threshold. Thus, the increase in plant farming productivity excessive, will cause damage to the environment, which in the end will hurt humans too. Departure from that awareness then comes the demand for sustainable plant farming systems.

Plant farming is the process of generating material plant farming and agro products by utilizing plant resources. Resource utilization is especially meaningful cultivation.

However, in a number of cases which are often considered part of the farm can mean extraction alone, such as fishing or forest exploitation. Farm has two important characteristics:

(1) Always involve goods in large volumes, and
(2) The production process has a relatively high risk.

Two characteristic arises because plant farming involves living creatures in one or several stages, and require space for activities as well as the period of time in the production process. Some forms of modern crops (eg algae cultivation, hydroponic) have been able to deduct these traits, but most of the world's plant farming still do.

Associated with plant farming, plant farming is a set of activities performed in the cultivation of plants. Farmers is a term for those who conduct farming, for example "tobacco farmer" or "vegetable farmer".

Science is knowledge of the facts, either in kind or generally accepted social and systematic. Farming or agriculture comes from the word ager, and cultura. Ager means land, or fields, or field. Cultura means to observe, maintain, plow.

Understanding others, include:
Plant farming production is a kind of process that is based on the growth of plants.

Plant farming production where there is a branch change inorganic substances into organic matter with the help of plants and animals. This process is a means of reproductive effort to renew.

Plant farming is the use of human power over nature with the aim of directing the development of plants that are useful to humans in a way that will better meet human needs.

Thus plant farming including a type of business that directly produce until it can keep for life.
Broadly speaking, the notion of agriculture include:
1. The production process
2. Farmers or entrepreneurs
3. Soil place of business
4. farming

Plant farming science starts from experience plant farming with the different plants. This experience produces agricultural sciences in the form of applied science. Plant farming science can be explained using the basic sciences such as biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, economics, social etc.. Basic science can explain all the processes that occur in agriculture, so that agricultural science include soil science, hydrology, weather and climate, physiology, biochemistry, agriculture, ecological agriculture, etc.. So agricultural science is knowledge about the cultivation of plants and animals are intended to obtain high yields and sustainable to meet the food needs and welfare of human life.
